About this Role

Our department has an outstanding reputation for delivering exceptional experiences both within the curriculum and through an extensive extra-curricular programme, providing over 250 fixtures last year alone.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a talented, supportive and ambitious team that has a proven track record of developing students who compete at county, national and international level. You will play a vital role in inspiring the next generation of young sportswomen, helping them to fulfil their potential both on and off the field.

The PE department is exceptionally well organised, with a fully embedded curriculum and comprehensive schemes of learning that enable new colleagues to settle quickly and teach with confidence. A strong culture of collaboration ensures that staff benefit from the expertise of both experienced practitioners and colleagues earlier in their careers, creating a supportive environment where ideas, resources and best practice are readily shared.

The PE department benefits from a strong range of facilities that support both high-quality teaching and an extensive extra-curricular programme. In particular, the school has excellent outdoor sporting spaces which are used fully throughout the school day and beyond, providing students with regular opportunities to develop their skills in a variety of activities.

There is also an opportunity for the right candidate for further leadership opportunities within the department that may be offered either at interview, or in a further process prior to starting in January.

If you are passionate about PE and committed to providing exceptional opportunities for young people, we would be delighted to hear from you.

To request any of the documents in an accessible format, please contact email@example.com or call and select option 2 for HR.
