Full Job Description

In this role, you will be accountable for pupil attainment and progress while fostering a safe and stimulating learning environment. Your core duties will include:

  • Curriculum & Knowledge: Demonstrating secure subject knowledge to foster interest in Geography and promote the value of scholarship.
  • Planning & Delivery: Imparting knowledge through well-structured lessons that promote intellectual curiosity and a love of learning.
  • Adaptive Teaching: Differentiating instruction to support all pupils, including those with SEND, high ability, or English as an additional language.
  • Assessment: Using formative and summative data to monitor progress, set targets, and provide regular, accurate feedback to pupils.
  • Behaviour Management: Establishing clear routines and high expectations for behavior in accordance with the Academy's policy.
