Richard Taunton Sixth Form College is seeking an inspirational Teacher of Foundation Learning to support students working at Entry Level and Level 1 within our Vocational and English courses, many of whom require additional structure, guidance and support.
This is a part-time permanent contract for 16.5 hours teaching hours due to start September 2026.
Salary: Sixth Form Teacher Pay Scale - Spine Point 1-9 - £33,465-£51,714 FTE (dependent on experience)
You will deliver a broad and flexible curriculum focused on:
- Core skills development
- Personal and social development
- Preparation for further study, employment or independence
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience working with students requiring additional learning support
- Be adaptable, patient and highly organised
- Use creative approaches to engage and motivate learners
- Work closely with support staff and external agencies
This role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about inclusive education and student progression.
An Enhanced DBS check will be required.
