About The Hammond:
The Hammond is the North West's leading provider of performing arts education and the UK's oldest vocational dance school. Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Teacher of Food and Nutrition to join our team on a part-time basis. The role is temporary for one year and the day is negotiable with the successful candidate. The role would also suit an ECT. The successful candidate will be confident in planning and delivering a stimulating, inclusive and engaging curriculum for Food & Nutrition.

Skills and Qualifications:
- The post holder will be expected to match the characteristics described in the Professional Standards for Teachers, as appropriate to their career stage,
- Ability to engage and motivate secondary school students
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally as part of a supportive team
- Excellent classroom management skills

- Patience, empathy, and approachability when working with learners
