We are delighted to have an opportunity for an inspirational and well-qualified Teacher of English to join this successful department from September 2026. Job title: Teacher of English Hours: 1.0 FTE Contract: Permanent Grade: Westholme School Pay Scale Reports to: Head of Department Term: January 2027 start Closing date: Friday 25th September 2026 at 9am (may close earlier than this date depending on the number of applications received) The successful candidate will support the HoD with co-coordinating 11 -18 provision, pedagogy, systems, intervention, pupil achievement and results analysis. English is a popular A level choice with increasing numbers of students choosing to study at university each year. This role would suit a new teacher, or someone with more classroom experience. A willingness to be involved in extra-curricular activities such as clubs, competitions and educational visits is essential, and other interests which are particular strengths of the successful candidate would also be welcome.
