St Joseph's College is a vibrant independent day and boarding school in Ipswich providing a broad and seamless education for over 570 boys and girls aged 2 - 18. We are looking for an enthusiastic and versatile teacher to join our highly successful English Faculty. The candidate must be a skilled communicator with a passion for language education and a commitment to supporting students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. You will plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that foster literacy and language acquisition across KS3 and KS4. Your role will be central to helping students thrive both academically and personally. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking and supportive Faculty and school community.

This permanent, full-time post, starting in September 2026, is suitable for both experienced teachers and those new to the profession. The successful applicant will have strong organisational and time-management skills and will be willing to contribute to the wider life of the school too.
