Part-time or full-time maternity cover - minimum of 0.85FTE We are looking for an enthusiastic, inspirational English specialist with outstanding subject knowledge to join our excellent department from November 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. In this role, your passion for your subject will allow you to foster an appreciation for English amongst your students through engaging teaching and enjoyable co-curricular experiences. You will teach GCSE following CIE IGCSE English Language and Literature and A Level following Edexcel. About You The ideal candidate will have outstanding subject knowledge, energy, drive and great ideas, as well as knowledge of the Edexcel A level specification and AQA GCSE in The ideal candidates will have outstanding specialist subject knowledge in English, a record of strong academic achievement and have taught English to GCSE and A Level. You will be a self-starting team player who can work collaboratively for the benefit of pupils and is committed to the ethos of the school and its pastoral approach. Applicants should have a passion for their subject and a desire to inspire students and prepare them for exams. You will contribute to the co-curricular offerings of the departments and the wider life of the School, to which your energy, warmth and pastoral instincts will lend themselves.
