We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of English to join our dynamic and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about learning and teaching in English at GCSE and Functional skills level 2. Your duties
We are committed to delivering a consistent and high-quality learning experience for all our students. In this role, you will teach a diverse range of learners, supporting them to develop their English skills and achieve relevant qualifications. You will work collaboratively with curriculum teams to ensure student progress is timely and effective, provide guidance and support to learners, and promote positive behaviour within the classroom. You will also contribute to curriculum development, helping to ensure programmes meet evolving student needs and align with wider college priorities. Person specification
The successful candidate will have a minimum of grade C in GCSE Maths and English Language (or equivalent), hold or be willing to work towards and achieve, a Diploma in Teaching and Learning (Certificate in Education) or equivalent, along with commitment to, and evidence of, CPD. Your own transport is essential, along with the ability to teach Functional Skills Level 2. If you possess the ability to influence, persuade and inspire others, can demonstrate an ability to lead on developing, planning, delivery and evaluation of high quality, motivational and inclusive learning experiences, and can evidence an ability to motivate students and improve student satisfaction, then we would love to hear from you!
