Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent qualification - Relevant specialist qualifications and experience (e.g BA (Hons) in English or related degree)
- Ability to deliver high-quality English lessons covering a range of modules and concepts
- A good understanding of curriculum and assessment requirements for English
- Enthusiasm and commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning to ensure all learners progress and achieve to a high standard in preparation for examinations We are looking for someone who:

The successful applicant for this role will join our talented team of 7 specialist English teachers. Jude, our wonderful Head of English, will support your growth and development, whether you are new to our profession or someone with more experience. As an English teacher, you will have the opportunity to deliver across both Key Stages, inspiring our young people to learn and love studying English! Both English and English Literature are delivered at Key Stage 4, Oasis Academy John Williams is a vibrant and ambitious community, serving just over 860 young people in modern, exceptionally well-maintained buildings.
