Full Job Description
Teacher of English (0.8 FTE approx) The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to undertake the KS4 Co-ordinator role for a fixed term period which is likely to be until the 11th April 2027. The successful candidate will:
- Deliver engaging, challenging and well-structured lessons that inspire a love of literature and language.
- Contribute to the continued development of a high-achieving department with a strong record of excellent exam results.
- Play a full part in the co-curricular and pastoral life of our busy school community. We are looking for someone who:
- Is an excellent classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge.
- Is committed to high standards of teaching and learning.
- Has the ability to motivate and support pupils of all abilities.
- Demonstrates professionalism, creativity and a willingness to contribute to the wider life of the College.
- Holds appropriate teaching qualifications (QTS or equivalent). We reserve the right to interview prior to the closing date therefore early application is recommended.
