Full Job Description

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed, and well-qualified individual to join our Design and Technology Department, in our busy and thriving Senior School.

You will teach Design & Technology across Years 9-13, delivering the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum at Key Stage 4 and Cambridge A-Level and International Baccalaureate programmes in the Sixth form.

This position is suitable for Early Career Teachers, for whom Taunton School runs an extensive programme of support.

The department is vibrant, popular, and exceptionally well resourced, providing staff and students with access to modern, innovative equipment. Students demonstrate high levels of engagement and achievement, and the department enjoys a strong reputation within the school. All teaching staff at Taunton School are supported with their continued professional development and encouraged to trial exciting new teaching methods whilst maintaining high standards of delivery.
