Teacher of Design and Technology

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Design Technology Teacher to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to inspire and empower students to explore their creativity, develop practical skills, and pursue their passion for design and technology. This encompasses a diverse range of subjects, including Resistant Materials, 3-Dimensional Design, Electronics and Systems Control. • Plan, prepare, and deliver inspiring lessons in Design & Technology that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities, inspiring students to explore new ideas and develop practical skills
• Foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to think critically, solve problems, and innovate as they explore various aspects of design technology, fostering a culture of creativity and curiosity in the classroom.
• Assess, monitor, and report on the progress and attainment of students, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
• Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to the department's growth by sharing best practices and innovative ideas.
  
  Compass Education Trust is currently engaged in discussions which are expected to result in the transfer of all schools to Harris Federation with effect from 1 September 2026 (the "Proposed Transfer"). Any employment commencing from 1 September 2026 will not be directly impacted under TUPE, but if the proposed transfer proceeds, it is anticipated that your employment will commence with Harris Federation rather than Compass Education Trust. Further details will be discussed with you at the interview stage.
