The Opportunity
Haberdashers' Monmouth School is seeking to appoint a part-time Teacher of Computing (0.5 FTE) on a fixed-term contract from September 2026 for 12 months.
The successful applicant will be a well-qualified, highly motivated, and innovative Computing teacher, possessing excellent subject knowledge and the ability to teach across key stages 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities
· Deliver high-quality Computing teaching, ensuring students are well prepared for external examinations and supported to achieve their full potential.
· Plan and deliver engaging, challenging lessons that stretch all learners and contribute to the development of departmental schemes of work and resources.
· Assess, track and report on student progress, providing clear feedback to pupils, parents and colleagues to support academic development.
· Uphold the school's ethos and responsibilities, including safeguarding, and maintaining high standards of behaviour
The Department
The Computer Science department is a dynamic, future-focused hub where students learn to think creatively, solve real problems and build the digital skills that power tomorrow's world.
