Teacher of Chemistry

We are currently recruiting for a Teacher of Chemistry to join a welcoming and ambitious school in Ealing. This opportunity is suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to develop their career in a supportive environment.

The Role

As a Teacher of Chemistry, you will deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire students and foster a strong understanding of scientific concepts. You will be part of a collaborative Science department committed to achieving excellent outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective Chemistry lessons at KS3 and KS4 level
  • Assess, monitor, and support student progress
  • Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners
  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
  • Promote a safe and inclusive laboratory and classroom environment

About You

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
  • Suitable for both experienced teachers and ECTs
  • Strong subject knowledge in Chemistry
  • Passion for science education and student achievement
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
