St Andrew's College Cambridge has been helping students from around the world achieve their university dreams since 1976, we are an independent school with a close-knit, international community, welcoming students aged 15 to 22 from over 25 countries. We're looking for an enthusiastic, inspiring Teacher of Biology to join our thriving Science Department to cover Maternity in the heart of Cambridge. The successful candidate will be excited by the idea of working with motivated students in small, focused classes, designed to help students thrive academically, socially and personally. This post would suit a Teacher to teach Biology up to KS5 (other Science specialisms are welcome) and to offer opportunities to enrich our science offering, including Olympiads and Sustainability projects. We welcome applications from teachers at any stage of their career, including ECTs, who:

  • Are passionate about Biology and dedicated to student success.
  • Deliver engaging, insightful, and inspiring lessons.
  • Collaborate creatively with colleagues to develop excellent resources.
  • Use technology and problem-solving to deepen understanding.
  • Can teach Biology to KS5 and contribute to the wider life of the college.
