We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Art to join our Arts department on a part-time basis (0.8 FTE) to teach Key Stage 3 and 4 students. Position: Teacher of Art (Part Time 0.8) Department: Arts Education Stage: Secondary Curriculum: Key Stage 3 & 4 Job Description: As a Teacher of Art at Sir William Stanier School, you will inspire and engage students in their artistic development, encouraging creativity and critical thinking through the delivery of an exciting curriculum tailored for learners. You will work collaboratively with colleagues within the Arts department to create a supportive learning environment that nurtures student growth. Skills and Qualifications: - A strong passion for art and creative subjects. - Ability to communicate effectively with secondary school students. - Willingness to develop teaching skills; no prior teaching experience necessary. - Good organisational skills with the ability to plan lessons that meet diverse learner needs. - Commitment to ongoing professional development.
