Full Job Description
Teacher of Art & Design Start date: September 2026 Brampton Manor Academy is seeking to appoint a highly committed Teacher of Art & Design to join our successful and well-established department from September 2026. Art & Design is a core subject at Key Stage 3 and a popular option at Key Stage 4, where we teach the AQA GCSE specification. At Key Stage 5, we offer AQA A Level Fine Art, with 18 students currently studying the subject. Student outcomes at both GCSE and A Level are consistently strong. At GCSE, we offer a wide range of AQA-endorsed Art & Design specialisms, including:
- Fine Art
- Graphic Communication
- Textile Design
- Three-Dimensional Design
- Photography A small number of students also study GCSE Design and Technology (AQA). The successful candidate will have strong subject knowledge, be passionate about Art & Design education, and thrive in a structured, high-expectations environment. The role would suit an ECT or an experienced teacher, including candidates seeking to broaden their experience in a high-performing inner-city school. A significant TLR may be available for a suitably experienced applicant. We offer:
