Do you have a passion for animal care and a talent for inspiring the next generation? East Durham College is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Animal Care Teacher to join our team and lead engaging, high-quality lessons across a range of levels. What you'll do:

• Deliver dynamic and inclusive lessons in animal care, using innovative teaching methods and technologies.
• Support and guide students to achieve their full potential, providing constructive feedback and encouragement.
• Lead assigned programmes, ensuring effective organisation, assessment, and administration.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design and develop curriculum content that reflects industry needs and prepares students for future careers.
• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to quality assurance processes.
• Build strong relationships with employers, parents, and stakeholders to enhance the reputation of the college.
• Participate in student visits, events, and wider college activities.
