+ Deal with telephone calls in a courteous enthusiastic and efficient manner
+ Research queries and provide answers supported by legislation and HMRC references whilst managing clients expectations
+ Provide support to and share ideas/knowledge with other members of the advice team including coaching and assisting less experienced colleagues

+ Practical experience of dealing with all areas of UK Direct Taxation

Its an exciting time to join Markel as our business grows and we have a great new role for a Tax Advisor to join the team here in Rugby. The Tax Advice team provide telephone technical advice to Markel clients ensuring high levels of customer service at all times. The Tax Advisor provide telephone Tax advice to our accountancy clients and affinity members and to ensure the highest level of customer service to enhance the client portfolio. This is more of a remote working role with one day per week in the office we can be a little flexible on this though if needed.
