Full Job Description
- Lead mock CQC inspections and assurance reviews across adult social care and health services
- Assess compliance against CQC frameworks, legislation, and best practice
- Produce detailed inspection reports and evidence-based improvement plans Improvement Support
- Provide expert consultancy and practical guidance to providers
- Support services through post-inspection recovery, enforcement, and quality improvement programmes
- Monitor progress and provide ongoing compliance support Education & Sector Engagement
- Design and deliver webinars, workshops, and training sessions
- Represent the organisation at partnership meetings, provider forums, and sector events Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong professional relationships with providers, commissioners, and regulators
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality care, If you're a current or former CQC inspector looking to apply your expertise in a new way - supporting providers to improve, not just inspect - we'd love to hear from you.
Current or former CQC Inspector with demonstrable inspection experience - Significant experience in adult social care, regulation, or compliance
- Expert knowledge of CQC regulations, assessment frameworks, and legislation (Care Act 2014, MCA, DoLS, H&S, Safeguarding, GDPR)
- Experience producing detailed inspection reports and improvement plans
- Ability to present findings to senior leaders and stakeholders
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively (including overnight stays) Desirable
- Experience supporting providers through enforcement or recovery programmes
- Knowledge of governance frameworks and quality improvement methodologies
