Tandoori Chef - Adore British Asian Kitchen - Harrow

We're looking for an experienced Tandoor Chef to join our kitchen team. You'll be responsible for the tandoor section - marinating, skewering and cooking meats, and producing fresh breads to order throughout service. You'll also be expected to cover the grill section when needed, so experience across both is essential.,

• Running the tandoor section during service, working to consistent quality and timing
• Preparing and marinating meats and vegetables to our recipes and specifications
• Making naan, roti and other breads fresh to order
• Covering and supporting the grill section as required
• Managing prep levels and stock rotation for your section
• Maintaining kitchen hygiene and food safety standards at all times
• Working closely with the wider kitchen team during busy service
  
  Proven experience as a tandoor chef in a busy restaurant kitchen
• Confident on the grill - this is a genuine requirement, not a nice-to-have
• Good understanding of South Asian marinades, spicing and cooking methods
• Able to work at pace and stay calm through peak service
• Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate (or willing to obtain)
• Right to work in the UK
• Available for evenings and weekends
