Are you a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker with a focus on mental health? Tameside Council is seeking an experienced Adults Social Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of adults experiencing mental health challenges. You will work collaboratively with service users, their families, and multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support and promote recovery. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments of individuals' needs and strengths to develop personalized care plans.
- Providing ongoing support and advocacy to service users, ensuring their rights and preferences are respected.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective service delivery.
- Monitoring and reviewing care plans to ensure they remain relevant and effective.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills: - A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in adult social work, particularly in mental health settings.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to develop effective care plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to service users.
