Full Job Description
- Building and maintaining internal and external talent pools, ensuring future talent supply is in place ahead of demand, with clear ownership of internal pipelines.
- Bringing together insights on internal mobility, pipeline health and external market conditions, sharing these across TA and the wider business to inform prioritisation and attraction decisions.
- Leading the approach to internal talent pipelines, supporting succession planning and internal movement by ensuring internal talent is identified and considered early.
- Partnering with RBPs, HR and Talent colleagues to prioritise pipeline and attraction activity for business-critical and hard-to-fill roles, aligned to workforce priorities and succession plans.
- Working in partnership with the Pipeline team, who deliver attraction, sourcing, screening and ongoing engagement at scale, including management of silver-medal candidates, aligned to agreed priorities.
Strong knowledge of internal mobility, talent pipelines and wider Talent Management practices, with the ability to apply these to shape workforce planning and talent approaches. - Background in Talent Acquisition, resourcing, talent management or related areas, with experience supporting and shaping hiring outcomes in response to workforce challenges.
- Ability to design and evolve inclusive talent approaches that support both internal and external progression, ensuring fairness, consistency and alignment to business needs.
- Confidence operating in fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environments, using data, market insight and pipeline intelligence to guide decision-making and challenge assumptions.
- Strong influencing skills, with experience engaging and constructively challenging stakeholders to support hiring, prioritisation and workforce decisions.
- Ability to leverage market, pipeline and internal data to drive prioritisation, strengthen attraction strategies and inform longer-term talent planning.
- Sound judgement when managing scarce, specialist or hard-to-fill roles, proactively building pipelines and deploying targeted attraction approaches to mitigate risk and support delivery.
- Commercial awareness, with an understanding of how talent decisions impact business performance, delivery risk and organisational capability.
