Full Job Description
As a Talent Engagement Assistant Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in bringing our national early careers strategy to life within the South East region. You will take ownership of university engagement and schools outreach activity across this geography, responsible for connecting Deloitte with the brightest emerging talent and building meaningful relationships with key stakeholders and students. You'll be a trusted advisor to the business, working closely with local leaders to tailor our national approach to your region's unique landscape. This means understanding the nuances of your local market and developing targeted engagement plans that resonate with students, parents, teachers, and careers advisors. A core part of your role is to be a visible presence in your region, representing Deloitte at a variety of events and building strong relationships with schools and universities. Expect a dynamic and varied role, with opportunities to present to large audiences and share your passion for Deloitte. During peak season (October - March), you might attend up to four events a week, offering a fast-paced and rewarding experience. We work flexibly as a team, and during peak season are regularly travelling, attending events both during the day and in the evening. Beyond execution, we're looking for a creative thinker. You'll analyse data, measure the success of your initiatives, and identify opportunities to enhance our impact. You'll also have the chance to lead strategic projects for the Talent Engagement team, including managing third-party providers, and share your best practices with colleagues across the firm.
You're passionate about early careers talent. You possess up-to-date knowledge of the UK early careers landscape, specifically within your delivery region. You excel at building relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You're a data-driven innovator. You analyse recruitment data to inform future strategies and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Essentials:
- Experience in early careers recruitment or talent engagement.
- Strong stakeholder management experience and skill
- Impactful and confident presenter and host
- Ability to analyse data and report on findings.
- Ability to travel regularly to events and offices across your region, and occasionally across the UK. Desirables:
- Existing network of contacts within schools and universities.
