Talent Acquisition OfficerLocation: Flexible / Hybrid (1-2 days per week in the office, with requirement to attend recruitment events/sites across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and Wiltshire) Working Pattern: Full-time and Part time vacancies are available (Flexible working options available)Are you an ambitious professional eager to launch or develop your career in recruitment? Following a team restructure aimed at building a modern, commercial, and automated resourcing function, we are looking for proactive Talent Acquisition Officers to join our newly transformed team.In this full cycle (360) entry level recruitment role, you will play a key part in attracting, hiring, and onboarding top talent across both clinical and administrative services. Working alongside experienced Talent Acquisition Partners and Senior Leaders, you will receive full training and structured support to develop into an outstanding recruiter, with clear avenues for career progression.If you are curious, thrive in a fast-paced environment, love problem solving, and take pride in delivering a highly engaging candidate experience, we want to hear from you. Interviews will take place via Teams on either the 25th or 26th August Main duties of the job As a Talent Acquisition Officer, you will manage end to end recruitment pipelines while acting as a trusted advisor to hiring managers across the Trust. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Hiring Manager Partnership. Taking detailed job briefs, advising managers on optimal recruitment routes, and coaching them on best practices for shortlisting, interviewing, and questioning.
  • Attraction & Advert Writing. Crafting compelling, high-quality job advertisements that stand out in a competitive healthcare market.
  • End to End Candidate Care. Conducting thorough pre-employment checks, maintaining active communication throughout the onboarding process, and delivering a seamless candidate journey.
  • High-Volume Portfolio Management. Efficiently managing a varied, fast moving caseload of clinical and administrative vacancies with speed, precision, and accuracy.
  • Process Improvement. Continuously identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, eliminate bottlenecks, and support the team's shift toward greater automation and commercial efficiency.
  • Event & Site Support. Representing the Trust at careers fairs, recruitment events, and team away days across our regional sites in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and Wiltshire.

    As a part of your application the below criteria needs to be met, when answering the 3 questions in your supporting statement please refer to the criteria below: Essential Criteria Prior Experience or Strong Transferable Skills.Previous experience in agency/in-house recruitment OR strong experience in a high-volume administrative, customer service, or HR role with a clear drive to transition into recruitment.
  • Workload Management & Accuracy.Proven ability to manage high-volume, fast-moving workloads while maintaining excellent attention to detail and accuracy under pressure.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Advisory.Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to advise, influence, and build positive relationships with managers, colleagues, and candidates.
  • Desirable Criteria
  • 360 Recruitment Understanding.Prior exposure to end-to-end recruitment tasks, such as taking job briefs, writing adverts, or conducting pre-employment compliance checks.
  • Process Improvement Mindset.A curious approach with a demonstrated interest in improving procedures, systems, or team workflows.
  • Healthcare or Multi-Site Exposure. Experience working within an NHS, public sector, or large multi-site commercial environment.
