Full Job Description
An elderly couple in Chigwell seeks a Tagalog-speaking full-time live-in carer who can assist them with daily routines and activities.
Working hours: 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off; 10 to 12 hours a day with breaks
Duties include:
assisting with personal care if needed
taking the clients to appointments
helping with laundry and ironing
changing bed linen and making beds as needed
assisting with bathing and personal grooming (mostly supervising)
managing their daily budget
cooking Filipino dishes when requested
supporting mobility
getting to know the clients and their interests and needs
giving emotional and practical support to the clients
prompting medication
ensuring the clients are safe and comfortable
