Full Job Description
As an Apprentice Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced staff to support children in the classroom and during lunch and playtime. This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a school setting while working towards a formal qualification in childcare and education. You will support the delivery of engaging lessons, assist in the classroom, and help ensure that every child receives the care and attention they need to thrive.,
- Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging activities for children in your class.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to children to aid their development and learning
- Help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Assist in observing and recording children's progress, and work with the teacher to support their development.
- Help children with personal care (if necessary) and ensure their well-being throughout the school day.
- Work alongside staff to foster positive relationships with children, parents, and other team members.
- Contribute to our inclusive ethos, making sure that all children, including those with special educational needs and disabilities, are well supported and succeed., A chance to gain valuable experience in a school setting while working towards a recognised qualification.
