T Level Assessor

In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring assessments are fair, rigorous and learner-centred-helping learners move confidently towards higher education or successful careers.

As a T Level Assessor, you'll be part of the team that helps learners turn ambition into achievement. You'll guide them through the assessment process, ensure standards are met, and support clear, timely feedback so learners understand exactly what success looks like.

What you'll do

Plan and deliver T Level assessments in line with programme requirements, ensuring assessments are consistent, transparent and occupationally relevant.

Assess learner evidence fairly and accurately, applying judgement against published criteria and documentation.

Maintain high-quality assessment records and ensure documentation is complete, compliant and easily auditable.

Provide constructive feedback that is actionable and motivating, helping learners improve their work and confidence.

Support learner progress by identifying development needs early and signposting appropriate guidance and resources.

Work collaboratively with teaching teams, internal quality staff and curriculum colleagues to maintain standards across cohorts.

Engage with employers and community connections where appropriate, ensuring learning and assessment remain aligned with current practice.

Participate in quality assurance activity including standardisation, moderation and improvement planning.

You'll bring a strong grasp of assessment practice and a commitment to fairness. You'll also have the confidence to support learners through assessment in a way that is clear, professional and encouraging.

While experience with T Levels is a real advantage, what matters most is your ability to:

build supportive relationships with learners and colleagues

You may come from an occupational background with assessor or internal quality roles, from a teaching/learning environment where you've assessed learners' work against recognised standards or just an industry expert who knows what employers in the sector are looking for and are willing to work towards an Assessor qualification.
