Full Job Description
You will actively task and monitor a Systems Engineering team in line with BAE Systems' processes, ensuring delivery of contracted outputs to the agreed schedule under the direction of the Project Engineering Manager. You will also support the delivery of budgeted tasks, bids, and installations, enabling first-line teams through effective coordination of systems, hardware, and product resources. You will prepare and review engineering estimates and schedules, ensuring they are accurate and aligned with project goals for review by the Project Engineering Manager and other stakeholders. Core duties:
- Provide support to proposal writing, costing and bidding
- Forecast the required resource for each task and update the resource management toolset as directed by the Project Engineering Manager.
- Provide support to the Project Engineering Manager for the appropriate identification of engineering risks and subsequent analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of engineering reports for Governance Meetings.
- Deputies for the Project Engineering Manager as required., The Systems Engineering Package Lead will be working alongside a Project Engineering Manager, Project Manager and System Design Authority to manage a team of Technical Leads and Systems Engineers to deliver a complex training system. - You will bring a good understanding and practical experience of systems engineering principles.
- You will demonstrate solid knowledge of systems engineering governance and lifecycle guidance processes.
- You will have some familiarity with hardware and software engineering values, which will be an added advantage

Salary: Up to £65000 depending upon skills & experience
