Full Job Description
We are recruiting for the role of Advanced Practitioner in our Systemic Practice and Family Therapy Team. There are two full time roles, one based in the Warwick and South localities and one in Nuneaton & Bedworth and North localities.

- Ongoing systemic CPD
- Clinical Supervision in line with professional requirements
- Delivery of high quality, theoretically informed specialist and bespoke interventions with families experiencing multiple stressors
- Facilitating Systemic Consultations for professional networks drawing on key theories such as attachment, trauma and child development.
- Delivering therapeutically informed group work programmes for families
- Contributing to the training and development opportunities for colleagues across the service based on the key theories of the Relational Practice Framework, To hold a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline (health, social care, child development, therapeutic approach)
- Office base in Warwick or Nuneaton
- Travel across the county based depending on service needs
- Flexible working hours based on the requirements of the families we support including occasion evening or weekend working
- Expectation to be office based as a minimum of 3 day a week and to attend face to face meetings as and when required by management
- Commitment to complete 2 years of post graduate Systemic Training to achieve qualification as a Systemic Practitioner (application to be made in June 2026 to start October 2026)
- To provide an outcome focussed direct work service in line with the guidelines produced locally in the Relational Practice Framework and nationally according to the relevant regulatory bodies such as Association for Family Therapy and Systemic Psychotherapy, or professional social work qualification and Social Work England registration.
- Challenge preconceived ideas about risk management and becoming a change leader in the organisation, champion and advocate for relationship based assessment, practice and intervention. - Prevent the accommodation of children by the Local Authority where possible
- Support children to return home to their families or connected others where possible
- Support the stability of placements for children who are looked after by the Local Authority
- Support the workforce to utilise systemically informed relationship-based practice The team offers support to our colleagues through all tiers of intervention by delivering Systemic Consultations, Reflective Supervision and Clinical Formulation. We have an exciting opportunity for 2 permanent Advanced Practitioners to join our Systemic Practice and Family Therapy Team. We are a unique team of highly skilled workers from multi-disciplinary backgrounds. We support the whole of the Children and Families Service across Warwickshire and are one of very few Systemic Teams in the Country who work specifically within a social care setting.
