Full Job Description

Sutton CAMHS are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Systemic Family Psychotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team. You will provide highly specialist systemic assessment and therapeutic interventions to children, young people and their families/carers, working collaboratively with colleagues to develop systemic practice across the service. The role will include:

  • Managing a specialist caseload and coordinating care.
  • Providing systemic family therapy and psycho-educational interventions.
  • Offering specialist consultation, formulation and advice to CAMHS colleagues.
  • Supporting clinical supervision, teaching and training.
  • Contributing to service development, audit, research and clinical governance.

    We are looking for a qualified Systemic Family Psychotherapist registered with UKCP via the College of Family, Couple and Systemic Therapy, with at least four years' demonstrable practice and significant experience working as a family therapist.
  • Experience of supervision, teaching, service development, leadership, research or group work would be desirable. If you are passionate about working therapeutically with children, young people and families and would like to contribute to the development of systemic practice within Sutton CAMHS, we would love to hear from you.
