As our Senior Systems Administrator, you'll play a key role in supporting the delivery and administration of Council Tax, Business Rates and Benefits services. You'll help ensure our systems, management information, statutory returns and performance reporting provide the insight needed to support operational management, service delivery and strategic decision making.
Working closely with colleagues across Revenues and Benefits, ICT and corporate services, you'll help shape the future of our systems, driving digital improvements, automation and integration opportunities that deliver better outcomes for our residents and businesses.
About the role and the team
You'll join our Revenues and Benefits team, working in a service that supports thousands of residents across the New Forest each year.
In this role, you'll make a difference by:
Leading on the administration, development and support of Revenues and Benefits systems.
Producing management information, statutory returns and performance data that informs decision making.
Developing and maintaining a systems aligned to service priorities, legislative requirements and digital transformation objectives.
Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, process improvement and system integration.
Working with suppliers, ICT colleagues and service managers to deliver system enhancements and new functionality.
Supporting service resilience by ensuring systems remain accurate, secure and fit for purpose.
