Experteer Overview As Sustainability Research Analyst, you contribute to Lombard Odier's proprietary sustainable investment framework and its ongoing development. You will assess companies and labelled debt against the framework and support data-driven enhancements across asset management and private banking. You'll monitor sustainability regulations and work with investment teams to explain outputs and support new ideas. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to shape the firm's sustainable investment offering and governance. Pay / Benefits
- Assess companies and labelled debt against the proprietary framework using disclosures, data, and external sources; author written assessments for internal and client use Contribute to development of qualitative framework criteria through sector and value-chain research; enhance data-driven criteria using external datasets and internal tools Monitor developments in sustainability regulation, standards, frameworks, and emerging themes Explain assessment outputs to investment teams and respond to due diligence or client requests; support new investment ideas Improve workflows and documentation related to the framework and processes, including AI-enabled workflows Generate research insights and collaborate with the investment stewardship team on company engagement Tasks Degree or postgraduate qualification in sustainability, environmental science, public policy or a related field Experience in sustainability/ESG research, sustainability consulting, sustainable finance, or sustainable capital markets Ability to analyse companies, sectors, business models and disclosures from a sustainability perspective Strong understanding of environmental and social sustainability issues and related frameworks and standards Intellectual curiosity and ability to think conceptually about intersections of finance and sustainability Comfort with ambiguity and making judgments with incomplete data Ability to interpret and organize complex qualitative and quantitative information Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects Key requirements
