Full Job Description

This is more than a surveying role. It's about using your expertise to identify solutions, improve living conditions and support customers when they need us most. Whether you're investigating building defects, supporting complex disrepair cases or helping shape future investment in our homes, your work will have a direct impact on people's wellbeing. As part of our Healthy Homes Team, you'll play a key role in ensuring our homes remain safe, sustainable, and fit for the future. You'll work closely with colleagues across the team and the wider business, combining technical knowledge with a practical and customer-focused approach to overcome challenges and find the right solutions. You'll spend time out in our communities, understanding issues first-hand, building trusted relationships and helping customers feel confident that we're doing the right thing for them and their homes., You'll be joining a team that genuinely cares about its customers and each other. We work collaboratively, share knowledge openly and support one another to make a positive difference every day. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your surveying expertise to a team that's focused on improving homes, supporting customers and creating healthier places to live. If you're passionate about improving homes, supporting communities and helping customers live well, we'd love to hear from you.

We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems and making a tangible difference. You'll bring experience in building surveying, property maintenance or a similar environment, with a relevant surveying qualification (Minimum HNC or HND Building Surveying studies). Most importantly, you'll be someone who can balance technical expertise with empathy, communicating clearly and working collaboratively to achieve the best outcomes for customers. You'll be comfortable managing a varied workload, working with colleagues, contractors and external partners, and using your professional judgement to find practical, value-for-money solutions. RICS membership would be an advantage, but what matters most is your passion for improving homes and delivering great customer experiences.

At Abri, we believe everyone deserves a safe, warm and healthy home.
