Full Job Description
The Estates team are looking to hire a Surveying Officer, who will work towards their Assessment of Professional Competence by working on a range of estate management tasks across North Yorkshire Council's varied property estate.
The role will be based in either Scarborough, Northallerton or Harrogate and assist the Estate Surveyors by;
Conducting lower value property management tasks and managing a varied caseload under the guidance of senior staff.
Assisting in resolving straightforward technical property queries.
Carrying out simple rent reviews, lease renewals, property valuations, and similar professional work.
Ensure that personal data, property records, performance indicators and expenditure are monitored and secured/ protected in line with the General Data Protection Regulation and NYC requirements for information Security and Confidentiality
Work with colleagues across the wider property team to provide assurance that the council is adhering to its lease obligations and to ensure successful delivery of key aspects of our Asset Management Action Plan
