Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough surgical pre-operative assessments.Complete risk stratification and ensure all required tests are performedLiaise with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient readiness for surgeryProvide clear, compassionate patient education and guidanceMaintain accurate and timely documentation
RequirementsRegistered Nurse with valid NMC registration.Currently practising, or has practised as a Surgical Pre-operative assessment Nurse for a minimum of 6 months within the last 12 months.Proven NHS experience.Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
