Surgical Care Practitioner Tunbridge Wells Hospital | Cardiology | Bank | Part time
Up to £29 per hour depending on experience

Role Responsibilities

• As a Surgical Care Practitioner at our Tunbridge Wells Hospital, you're registered with the appropriate governing body and you hold the relevant qualifications and experience, including HCPC or NMC registration.


• You bring a passion for high standards in perioperative care, a meticulous eye for detail, and post-registration experience.


• You're a focused, flexible, and motivated team worker.


• Prioritise patient safety, take appropriate actions, and encourage colleagues to call out and report safety concerns.


• Promote a safe working environment for patients, visitors, and staff (in full compliance with all policies and procedures).


• Support governance activity, ensuring full compliance with Nuffield Health's Quality governance framework and national standards, e.g., CQC/HIW/HIS Regulation, fundamentals of care, professional standards, and evidence-based guidelines.


• Provide and lead care management and delivery, treating patients, families, friends, and representatives with kindness, dignity, respect, and compassion, and support them emotionally with their care, treatment, or condition.


• Collaborate with other clinicians within the hospital, building strong working relationships that enhance patient care and service delivery.


• Take charge of a theatre, coordinating and delivering work activities, and leading junior practitioners.
