AOP Rise is a new dispersed safe accommodation service in Manchester supporting adult victims and survivors of domestic abuse with complex and intersecting needs, and their children where applicable. The service provides short-term accommodation alongside intensive specialist support, safety planning, recovery-focused interventions and move-on support to help people achieve independence and long-term housing stability.The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Supported Housing Manager to lead this important service. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a new provision that places safety, empowerment and recovery at its heart. You will provide leadership and operational oversight across all aspects of the service, ensuring residents receive high-quality, trauma-informed and person-centred support. You will be responsible for managing staff, safeguarding, quality assurance, occupancy, contract performance, budgets and partnerships while driving a culture of continuous improvement and positive outcomes., As Supported Housing Manager, you will:
- Lead, motivate and develop a team delivering specialist support to survivors of domestic abuse and their families.
- Ensure services are delivered using trauma-informed, strengths-based and psychologically informed approaches.
- Oversee safeguarding, risk management and high-risk domestic abuse cases, ensuring robust assessments and safety planning are in place.
- Manage referrals, placements and occupancy across dispersed accommodation.
- Support residents to progress towards sustainable housing, recovery and greater independence.
- Monitor service quality, compliance, outcomes and KPI performance.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure value for money and service excellence.
- Develop strong partnerships with local authorities, domestic abuse services, police, health professionals and other stakeholders across Manchester.
We are looking for a confident and experienced manager who is passionate about supporting people with complex needs. You will have: - Experience managing supported housing, domestic abuse, homelessness or similar services.
- Strong knowledge of domestic abuse, safeguarding, risk management and multi-agency working.
- Experience leading teams, developing staff and managing service performance.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed and person-centred approaches.
- Understanding of housing management, tenancy sustainment and move-on planning.
- Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
