Full Job Description
We're looking for enthusiastic and caring Support Workers to join our Worcester team, supporting
four gentlemen aged 20s-40s with autism, learning disabilities, cerebral palsy and epilepsy.
This is an active, sociable home where the people we support love:
- Football and music
- Gaming and home-cooked meals
- Museums, cathedrals, theatres and cinema trips
- Swimming and hydropool sessions
- Community outings and new adventures
All four gentlemen are wheelchair users and thrive with support from team members who understand their individual preferences, communication styles and goals.
You'll help with:
- Personal care and daily living
- Administering medication
- Preparing meals and household tasks
- Communication and relationship building
- Supporting independence, confidence and choice
- Social activities and hydrotherapy sessions
Shifts
- 8:00am - 4:00pm
- 9:00am - 5:00pm
- 1:00pm - 9:00pm
- Long day with sleep-in: 3:00pm - 2:00pm (next day)
- Sleep-ins: 11:00pm - 7:00am (£50 per sleep-in)
Rotas provided in advance to support work-life balance.
You'll be a great fit if you're:
- Caring, reliable and positive
- Happy to support personal care and mobility needs
- Comfortable joining in swimming sessions and community activities
- A good team player who enjoys being active and social
- Willing to learn (full training provided)
- A manual driver with a full UK licence (essential)
Experience is helpful but not required - we'll provide all the training you need.
