Support Workers

We are now looking for a Senior Support Worker to support our Registered Manager & Care Manager in developing the existing branch based in Nottingham. The role will involve working in the office and supporting a team of Support Workers in the Nottingham region. We expect our Senior Support Worker to have an excellent understanding of legislation and experience in supporting an established team in ensuring the service provision is individualised and person-centred to each client's needs. The successful candidate must demonstrate a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for our clients. You will report to the Care Manager, and your duties will include: 1. 2. Reviewing of person-centred support plans and risk assessments Completing compliance checks throughout the staff team, including Supervisions, Spot Checks, Competency Assessments and training/shadowing requirements. 3. Audits 4. Reviews and professional meetings

• The ability to build positive professional relationships with service users and
colleagues
• Someone who offers consistent and friendly support with attention to detail
• Good judgement and sense of responsibility with limited supervision
• Experience of working with people with mental health conditions or learning
disabilities would be vulnerable but not essential for the role
• The ability to communicate within a diverse environment

• Previous care experience (essential)
• Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker (desirable)
• Previous experience with rostering software, Word, and Excel
• Organisational skills
• Excellent written and spoken English
  
  £13.13 per hour, 40 hours per week (20hours administration + 20 hrs Support
Provision) plus on-call requirements- permanent contract £13.13/hour over 40 hours per year = £27,384.93 The 1 in 3 on call = £3215.30 per year Total = £30,599.23 per year Founded in 2005, Archangel Care began with a single, locally based residential unit for adults with learning disabilities. In addition to this, you will become a responsible member of the on-call team within the branch based on a 1 in 3 weekend rotation and this is paid in addition to the normal contracted hours
