Full Job Description

We're looking for caring and dedicated Support Workers to join our team in Bath (BA1), supporting eight adults aged 40-60 with a range of complex health and support needs. This is a warm, welcoming service where every person is supported as an individual. You'll work alongside experienced colleagues to provide person-centred support to people with epilepsy, PEG feeding requirements, complex physical disabilities and communication needs. The people we support enjoy a variety of activities, including:

  • Music and sensory sessions
  • Arts, crafts and baking
  • Gardening and outdoor activities
  • Spending time with friends, family and support staff
  • Exploring new experiences and maintaining active routines
  • Family involvement is important, and you'll work closely with relatives and healthcare professionals to ensure every person receives the best possible support. Your role will include:
  • Supporting personal care and daily living tasks
  • Administering medication and following healthcare plans
  • Supporting PEG feeding and epilepsy protocols (full training provided)
  • Following SALT guidance around feeding and communication
  • Encouraging choice, independence and participation
  • Building meaningful relationships and understanding individual communication styles
  • Supporting activities that promote wellbeing and quality of life
  • Shifts include mornings, afternoons, long days and sleep-ins, with rotas provided in advance to support work-life balance.
