Full Job Description
We're looking for enthusiastic, positive and reliable Support Workers to join our team in Trowbridge (BA14), supporting four individuals (two men and two women aged 30s-50s) with profound and multiple learning disabilities and complex health needs. This is a highly rewarding role where you'll provide 1:1 and 2:1 support, helping people live fulfilling, active and meaningful lives. You'll be part of a close-knit team that values collaboration, energy and a proactive approach. Who you will be supporting You'll support four individuals with a range of complex needs, including:
- Profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD)
- PEG feeding (for two individuals)
- Epilepsy (managed with medication)
- Suction and additional health care needs Support needs include:
- Personal care
- Hoist use and manual handling
- Wheelchair support for all individuals
- Support with eating and PEG feeding
- Medication administration Interests & lifestyle The people you'll support enjoy living active and engaging lives, including:
- Hydrotherapy and swimming
- Exploring new activities and interests
- Music, sensory play and interactive experiences
- Video games and relaxation time
- Community outings and day trips
- Opportunities for holidays and new experiences This is a lively, engaging environment where creativity, energy and enthusiasm make a real difference. What you will be doing Your role will be varied, hands-on and meaningful, including:
- Providing high-quality personal care and support
- Supporting complex health needs (full training provided)
- Using hoists and supporting mobility safely
- Preparing meals and supporting feeding requirements
- Administering medication
- Supporting activities, outings and hydro sessions
- Encouraging engagement, comfort and wellbeing
- Working closely with your team to deliver consistent care

- Comfortable supporting personal care and complex needs
- Willing to learn specialist skills such as PEG feeding and suction
- Someone who enjoys being active and involved
- Reliable with good timekeeping
- Comfortable swimming and supporting hydro activities
- A confident driver (auto) Experience is helpful but not essential - full training is provided. Family involvement Families are involved in the lives of the people we support, so building respectful and positive relationships is an important part of the role.
- 7:00am - 4:00pm
- 4:00pm - 10:00pm
- Long day + sleep-in: 9:00am - 9:00am (next day)
- Sleep-in: 10:00pm - 7:00am (£50 paid to sleep) Rotas are provided in advance to support work-life balance.,
