Full Job Description

We're looking for experienced Support Workers to join our supported living home in Bricket Wood, supporting up to nine people once fully established. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a home from the very beginning-helping to shape a consistent, structured and high-quality home where people can truly thrive. This role is ideally suited to someone who is confident working with people who have a history of complex behaviours of distress and understands the importance of structure, routine and clear boundaries. You'll play a key role in creating a stable, predictable home environment while supporting people to live full, active and independent lives. The people we support lead community-focused lives, with established routines that include social events, hobbies and developing new skills. Your role will be to maintain and build on these routines, promoting independence and supporting individuals to achieve outcomes. Day-to-day, this will include supporting with personal care, administering medication, preparing meals and enabling access to community opportunities, all while working in a person-centred way. As an experienced colleague, you'll benefit from the stability of working for a not-for-profit organisation, access to development opportunities and clear pathways for progression into Lead or management roles.

We're specifically looking for candidates who already have experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism or behaviours of distress. You will be confident in your approach, able to communicate clearly, and committed to maintaining professional boundaries. At Dimensions, we are a values-led organisation, so you'll naturally demonstrate ambition in helping people reach their potential, courage in supporting positive change, integrity in your communication and actions, partnership in how you work with others, and respect in ensuring people have real choice and control over their lives. Flexibility is essential in this role, as shifts will include early mornings, late evenings and weekends, with rotas planned in advance. You'll need to be able to adapt to meet the needs of the people we support and work as part of a close team.

  • A competitive payrate with uplift for overtime you chose to work
  • Flexible shift patterns to suit your needs
  • 30 days paid Annual Leave (including public holidays - pro rata)
  • Opportunities for career progression
  • We offer a salary advance scheme where you can access up to 50% of the money you've earned before payday.
  • High Street Discounts - Retail and Entertainment (supermarkets, hospitality, pubs, cinema etc.)
  • Life Assurance and Company Pension
  • Industry leading training
  • Enhanced DBS paid for by us, An enhanced DBS disclosure will be required for this role, the cost of which will be incurred by Dimensions.
