Full Job Description

Since the early days, we've grown to provide many innovative and bespoke care services to thousands of people across England and Scotland. We want to provide support based on the principles of choice, dignity and respect. This resonates in our vision of 'Your Life, Your Choice' and our strategy 'Best Lives Possible'. We have strong values and we're proud to pioneer new ways of delivering social care to stand out in our sector. In the past two years, we have won or made the shortlist for over 100 national and regional awards! We are also focused on our people. Our Support Workers are dedicated and passionate about going 'the extra mile' for the people we support and in return, we go the extra mile for them by investing in pay, recognition, wellbeing and continued professional and personal development. We will provide you with all the training, support and personal protective equipment you need in your role and will help you develop, should you decide you want to develop your career with us. Who you'll be supporting & more about the role: You'll be supporting two fabulous ladies who live together in their own cosy bungalow in Southport. They're fun-loving, full of personality, and have a brilliant sense of humour. Music, laughter and enjoying life are a big part of their home. They live with some health conditions, including learning disabilities, COPD and sleep apnoea, but this doesn't stop them from enjoying full and meaningful lives with the right support. Their home is:

  • A bungalow with everything on one level
  • A large garden they love relaxing in, chatting and enjoying the sunshine
  • A shared lounge and dining area, where meals are shared, TV is watched and plenty of laughs are had
  • They love:
  • Club 25 and theatre trips
  • Going out for lunch
  • Scenic drives
  • Music, singing and dancing
  • Arts & crafts
  • Pamper days
  • Your role on a Sunday will include:
  • Supporting with personal care
  • Cooking meals together
  • Administering medication
  • Joining in with activities and outings
  • Helping them enjoy their community and day-to-day routines
  • You'll receive all the training you need, including medication and emergency first aid, and you'll be warmly welcomed by an experienced, supportive team. Your values: This role is all about bringing the right energy and values. We're looking for someone who is:
  • Outgoing, warm and motivated
  • Has a good sense of humour
  • Loves singing, dancing and getting involved
  • Patient, kind and respectful
  • Willing to learn and be part of everyday moments
  • Experience in care isn't essential - what matters most is who you are, not what's on your CV. If you're someone who enjoys connecting with people, having fun while supporting others, and making Sundays brighter, we'd love to hear from you!
