Full Job Description

We're looking for a Support Worker to join our Young People's Service, supporting 18-24-year-olds, including young people leaving care and those who have experienced homelessness. This is a semi-independent housing service, meaning you'll provide support and guidance rather than personal care. You'll help young people build confidence, develop life skills, and move towards independent living, making a real difference to their future. What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting young people to achieve their goals and live independently
  • Completing support plans, risk assessments, and regular reviews
  • Helping with everyday life skills such as budgeting, cooking, cleaning, and managing a tenancy
  • Encouraging engagement with education, employment, training, and community services
  • Working with external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for young people
  • Keeping accurate records and maintaining safeguarding standards

    Enhanced DBS check required
  • Full driving licence preferred but not essential
  • Travel to training in Houghton Regis and occasionally other Hertfordshire locations will be required
