Full Job Description
MUVE Healthcare is looking for highly experienced Support Workers to join our specialist Rapid Response Team. This is a full-time, shift-based role, working 36-48 hours per week across days, nights and weekends. This is not a standard Support Worker position. You will be part of a highly skilled team responsible for mobilising new complex care packages, stabilising existing services, and supporting children, young people and adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism, ADHD, Complex Needs and Behaviours that Challenge. You must be willing and able to travel at short notice to support new package mobilisations and service stabilisation. This may involve travelling up to 100 miles from your home location when required.About this roleWhat You'll Do
- Support the mobilisation of new and emergency care packages.
- Provide direct support to individuals with complex needs and behaviours that challenge.
- Work closely with our internal MDT to ensure safe mobilisation and ongoing stability.
- Help stabilise existing care packages and reduce risks.
- Promote Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and trauma-informed practice.
- Support individuals to access their communities and achieve personal goals.
- Complete accurate care records, incident reports and support documentation.
- Work flexibly across different services and locations.
- Work a range of shifts, including days, nights and weekends., This is a specialist Support Worker role requiring substantial experience supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Behaviours that Challenge. Applications will not be progressed where the required experience cannot be clearly demonstrated on the CV. General care, Healthcare Assistant or hospital experience alone will not be considered sufficient unless it includes significant hands-on support of individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Behaviours that Challenge over a sustained period.
- Minimum 3 years' demonstrable experience supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Behaviours that Challenge.
- Relevant experience must be clearly evidenced throughout your CV.
- Current PMVA, DMI or equivalent physical intervention training.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Access to your own vehicle.
- Business use motor insurance.
- Willingness to travel up to 100 miles from your home location at short notice.
- Experience within supported living, residential care, community services or specialist care environments.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management and Positive Behaviour Support.
