Full Job Description
ACC Care Group is looking for compassionate, reliable, and motivated Support Workers to join our Mental Health team. You'll provide person-centred support to individuals living with mental health conditions, helping them maintain independence, build confidence, and achieve positive outcomes within their community. This role involves lone working, community-based support, and promoting wellbeing while ensuring people feel safe, respected, and empowered. What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting individuals with daily living and community access
- Providing emotional support and promoting independence
- Supporting people during periods of anxiety or crisis using de-escalation techniques
- Encouraging participation in social and community activities
- Recording accurate care notes and reporting concerns
- Following care plans and risk assessments
- Working professionally with families and healthcare professionals
Experience in mental health, community care or support work (preferred) - Calm and confident approach in challenging situations
- Excellent communication skills
- Compassionate and professional attitude
- Ability to work independently
- Good written documentation skills
