We're here to support people with the services they tell us they want and need, creating an environment that considers the views of both the people we support and the people important to them.
At Mortimer House we have a large, dedicated staff team who are well regarded and commended by relatives, who trust the team to ensure their loved one is well looked after.
The home is a busy and fast-paced environment where we support up to 21 people with Learning Disabilities, Dementia and Sensory Impairments and people with complex needs in regards to eating and drinking, mobility and emotional wellbeing. Our residents are supported to lead the care they receive and live as independently as possible.
As an Unsupervised Support Worker you will ensure that the people who live at Mortimer House are supported safely and in a person centred way, working in line with regulations and agreed safe systems. You will become familiar with the people we support and their care needs and preferences. You will be supporting people with their mobility needs, medication, nutrition and social needs.
The successful Unsupervised Support Worker will have great communication skills, with the ability to communicate with team members, people we support and a range of stakeholders., Disability Confident
