Are you ready to build a career where everything you do truly matters? We're looking for a compassionate and motivated Support Worker to join our Supported Living team in Swansea, supporting four incredible individuals with learning disabilities and complex health needs to live full, active, and independent lives in a welcoming bungalow setting. This is a dynamic, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll be supporting people both at home and out in the community, from everyday routines to meaningful experiences, so being a confident manual driver with a full UK licence is essential. You'll work a varied shift pattern including day shifts (7:30am-3:00pm or 3:00pm-9:00pm) and waking nights (8:00pm-8:00am), with enhanced rates for night work. We're looking for someone who is caring, reliable, and physically able to support manual handling, but above all, someone who is passionate about empowering others to live as independently as possible. Their days are shaped by their interests and choices, whether that's heading out for scenic beach walks, enjoying day trips, going out for meals, or simply spending time watching football together or heading out for a game of ten-pin bowling. You'll play a key part in enabling these experiences, creating opportunities for independence, fun, and connection. Much of the role involves spending time out in the community, supporting independence while also building strong, trusting relationships. One individual communicates in their own unique way, so patience and a genuine willingness to understand and connect are important. The service is based in a bungalow setting, where you'll work as part of a strong and supportive team. There is a balance of structured routines, such as attending day services, alongside more flexible, person-led activities. The role also involves providing personal care, full manual handling support, and supporting with PEG feeding, with training provided where needed. You may also have the opportunity to accompany individuals on UK holidays, helping to create memorable experiences and maintain continuity of care. During waking nights, you'll provide reassurance, monitor wellbeing, and offer support with overnight care needs. This role is ideal for someone who is caring, reliable, and physically able to support manual handling tasks, but most importantly someone who is passionate about supporting others to live as independently as possible. What You'll Be Doing: As a Support Worker, you'll be involved in all aspects of day-to-day support, including:
- Enable independence through community access, including day trips, beach walks, meals out, football, and bowling.
- Build strong, trusting relationships, including supporting one individual with unique communication needs.
- Provide personal care, full manual handling, and PEG feeding support (training provided).
- Work collaboratively as part of a strong, supportive team with limited lone working.
- Support structured routines such as day services alongside flexible, person-led activities.

- Sleep-in rate: £62.64 per 8 hour shift - approx. 1 per week.
