Support Worker - Days

About the Role: We're on the lookout for a caring, down-to-earth Support Worker to assist a sociable and independent client with muscular dystrophy both at home and out in the community. In this role, you'll support one individual with complex needs, working regular weekly shifts to build a consistent, trusted care team. While hours are usually stable, the position is offered on a zero-hours contract as care packages can change. I need someone reliable, friendly, and up for joining in. Flexibility is key... especially when the music calls. What you'll be working:

• 2 nights - Thursday & Friday
• 10pm until 8am
• 20 hours per week
• Flexibility to work extra shifts if required

• Confident behind the wheel and hold a full UK driving licence, ready to hit the road for spontaneous pub trips, drone adventures, or live concerts.
• Has hands-on care experience, and you understand what it means to be there when it matters most.
• Your nature is gentle, your patience long, and your communication clearsomeone who connects with compassion and listens with intent.
• Flexible and reliable, ready to adapt when plans shift, and you carry your sense of humour with you even on the busiest of days.
• NVQ level 3 or above
  
  £12.75 to £14.00 per hour dependant on NVQ qualification
• Full specialist training, shadow shifts, and ongoing support from the Care Manager provided
